This wooden Acrylic GeoCoin is on a mission to cross the country - from Perth to Sydney!

Originally departing from Darwin, it'll need to make its way from the Top End across to one of the coasts before it can commence the cross country voyage.

Wooden GeoCoin Collection - Unit473L

The original TB went missing after the first cache, so it was re-launched with the same code using a wooden proxy GeoCoin. It was made using one of the toner to wood transfer methods (there are loads of tutorials available on YouTube) which is simply a matter of printing out the desired design (as a reversed image), gluing the page toner side first onto a wooden blank and then using a damp sponge to rub off the paper - leaving the desgin on the wood.

However, the other wooden geocoins in this collection have not been doing too well, so this one was re-built as acrylic. You can see how this process was done here on the forum if you're interested in making your own!
