I maintain records on my trackables. They have the goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers. That is a target rate of five drops per year for five years, or a drop every 73 days. The average drop rate of my trackables in the US is 124 days, in Europe it is 71 days. As of 10-Aug-23 this trackable had survived for 1.6 years and had been moved by 7 cachers, for an average drop every 81 days. Please keep it moving, then drop it in a safe place!

No permission is needed to leave the U.S. While in the U.S., please drop it in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and dry, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.

Each black wheel in this series of trackables represents one of the hundred most collected American-made production automobiles (see hemmings.com). The TBs in this collection include only cars made between the years of my birth and marriage…these are some of the cars I grew up with. A few had limited production and cost a fortune whereas others were sold to families and were relatively inexpensive. Some had eye-catching designs, others had technological advances, still others had chassis’ that were popular fodder for later street rods. Whatever the case, there is something about all of them that makes collectors compete for ownership.

If there WERE a Top 10 list, this Cadillac would be in it. It's held in high regard by even non-car people, such is its iconic shape. Its fins defined Detroit excess like no other, while its overall shape ticks all the right buttons. It's big, bold and incredibly striking, regardless of body style--clearly a winner.
