Origins of "hido," K.D., and the road trip

"Hido" was a greeting my mother, Kathy Bruce started saying in the mid-nineties. It was a consolidation of, "Hi, how are you doing?" into one word. Like Namaste for Enlgish speakers. 

Mom's middle initial was "D". Katie was the name of her grandmother (her mom's mom). First initial plus middile initial, phonetically results in the same sound.

The Hido K.D. Road Trip is a tribute to my mother who passed away March 1st, 2019. She loved road trips and traveling. These trackables let her keep doing so for however long they last..

After a long journey together, I am leaving the trackable here in a nice sized cache not far off from I-35 and a few of my favorite eating places.
