Origins of "hido," K.D., and the road trip

"Hido" was a greeting my mother, Kathy Bruce started saying in the mid-nineties. It was a consolidation of, "Hi, how are you doing?" into one word. Like Namaste for Enlgish speakers. 

Mom's middle initial was "D". Katie was the name of her grandmother (her mom's mom). First initial plus middile initial, phonetically results in the same sound.

The Hido K.D. Road Trip is a tribute to my mother who passed away March 1st, 2019. She loved road trips and traveling. These trackables let her keep doing so for however long they last..

Once back in the hotel, I’ve had the opportunity to read this TB’s page. I will take special care of it, knowing that it is in memory of your mother. I launched a few TBs in memory of my father, and all of them have sadly gone missing. Hido K.D. and I will travel back home to Tennessee later today. Thanks for sharing.
