Team Hurricane was formed 14 May 2016 at 2016 Cache Across Maryland. The name came from the hurricane-like wind and rain that suddenly bombarded us during our first time caching together on an otherwise perfectly normal weather day. Since then, we've conquered Smart Caches of Berkeley County Geotrail Kickoff, 200+ caches in 24 hours, Heart of the Civil War GeoTrail Kick-Off, creepy burning town Centralia aka Silent Hill, Smithsonian GeoTour, 2017 Metro Gathering, CAM 2018, GWXVI, Find Your Chesapeake GeoTour Kick-Off Event, and Eight Wards of D.C. Geotrail Geocoin, all while constantly earning new nicknames from LT!
