This cute little turtle has a specific mission, it may seem quite a big one but believe me sometimes, just sometimes asking the the seemingly unattainable works!
Qui~Tuyen wishes to visit her homeland of Vietnam, where she was hand crafted by Namaste's Fair Trade suppliers.
It would be wonderful if she could possibly achieve her goal as I am sure her homeland would welcome her return, with open arms. Perhaps you could take some photo's of Qui~Tuyen on her travels and we can all follow the dream....
NO EVENTS PLEASE, far too many bugs have gone to meets and then have vanished without trace, thanks.
This Tb is a small colourful turtle, named, Qui~Tuyen. A rough translation means Turtle-Angel.
Names in the Vietnamese culture are always positive and uplifting, and usually refer to one of the four mythical creatures or beautiful images. Very often two names are used together.
The origiinal turtle was bought for me at a country garden centre and coffe shop near to Pershore in Worcestershire UK, by badgerbaby.
She WAS beautifully made and hand crafted by Namaste's Fair Trade supplier in Vietnam, which is a non profit organisation which helps traditional craft producers, especially the poor, to revive their culture and improve livelihoods through handicraft production. She is now another hand crafted turtle and is very colourful!
Please take good care of her, and keep her moving and safe. I have attached her to a bright purple tag and small keyring which gives a brief insight to her big mission!
To travel safely is all I can ask of you, please enjoy....
