Slugs are cool. These are my favorite kinds.
A. Yellow Slug (Limacus Flavus). This species has blue tentacles and a yellow keel. It can cause major damage to agriculture if it is allowed to eat too many seedlings.
B. Orange-Banded Arion (Arion fasciatus). Has a yellow underside whereas the juveniles are grey.
C. Giant red slug or chocolate slug (Arion rufus). Its an annual slug, mates in the summer and in autumn can lay around 500 eggs. They mate but they can auto-fertilize. Its rare now as its been displaced by another slug, the Lusitanian slug.
D. Giant black slug (Arian ater). The adults are all black but the juveniles are creamy white with a black head.
E. Ashy-Grey Slug (Limax cinereoniger). Very large slug, relatively speaking, can reach up to 25 cm in length. Mostly ash grey in color.
