Meet Theresea, patient #357 in our ongoing study of the spread of the zombie plague via geocaching. Theresea was a security guard, who worked the Marine base in Yuma, Arizona. She was into dirt bikes, loved to go off in search of high terrain caches on them in the desert, and also had a couple of parakeets. She hated having anything wrapped around here arms, would not wear a watch, and hated clothes with sleaves. She also smoked a pipe, but never in front of anyone.
We believe that Theresea contracted the plague from Rory, patient #22 in our study. We know for garage records, as well as email accounts, that her bike ended up in Rory’s shop. Rory was a dune buggy enthusiast, and he found Theresea walking her smashed up bike back down a particularly difficult train in the Fortuna Hills after she had taken a nasty tumble. We know he fixed her bike, and that they often cached together afterwards.
This travel bug is part of a larger study to take a closer look at how the zombie plague might propagate if the primary vector for spreading the disease was geocaching. Please visit the following website for further details, and a visualization of how the disease has propagated thus far based on the movement and discovery of this and other infected Zombie travel bugs:
