Current Goal

This travel bug has the modest goal to circulate more than five ye12rs and to be moved by at least 25 cachers.  As of 24-Oct-19 it had survived for 1.8 years and had been moved by 10 cachers.

Please drop it in rural OR Premium Member Only caches.  Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security.  Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items.  Otherwise, take the travel bug anywhere you wish.  No permission is needed to leave the U.S.

About This Item

There is a surfboard and a wave on the tag--I guess that is for extreme surfing.  This Extreme series of TBs is named for beaches around the world, but most are not really extreme..

Found this in the Bonus cache for HikeVirginia’s “Take a Hike” Mystery Series. It was a fun 11 miles finding all 52 caches in 6 hours! I will move this TB along!

Placed in the Bonus cache to my Take A Hike geo-art. Maybe not be the most extreme cache ever, but to complete, one must hike (or bike) about 10 miles while looking for clues along the way to find this bonus cache. The photo was taken near one of the caches in the series, at the spillway dam of the Swift Creek Lake in Pocahontas State Park, just south of Richmond VA. Your TB is doing well.
