To travel the world making friends and spreading the word that us sharks are not that bad!
Around the world we are been persecuted for our fins, cartilage and by poor fishing practice. Our numbers are in serious decline and many of my brothers and sisters are even listed as threatened or endangered species. We play an important part in the marine ecosystem and need your help. I can appreciate we have big teeth and some of us look a bit scary but but it's very unlikely you'll ever see us up close or be involved in any sort of incedent with us. Most of the stories you hear are blown out of all proportion, there are plenty of facts out there on the web but here's a good one: You are 15 times more likely to be killed by a falling coconut than attacked by a shark!
I love the sea, my owners do too as you can see in the gallery. I hope you love the sea but please remember it's more than big enough for us all! If you find me I'd love you to post up a picture for my owners to see where I've travelled, obviously it would be good if it was close to the water but what ever takes your fancy!
If your interested in helping to support my kind check out http://www.sharktrust.org/ there's plenty of info on there.
