This Maori inspired Ducky is trying to get to our on-line caching buddies, AnnieWildfire and PB, in New Zealand. Annie has prepared a nest for Maori Ducky at GC3ME4P. Annie & PB's Page
Maori Ducky is #143 in the Team-Ducky custom ducky series and our 8th Traveling Ducky. Maori Ducky was inspired by Maori art and our connections to cachers on the other side of the planet. Maori Ducky was created primarily by Chef Ducky.
Team-Ducky traveling duckies do not have Travel Bug tags attached to them; they have the Travel Bug drawn directly on them. UU Jester used the numbers from his Inukshuk GeoCoin for this Traveling Ducky. (A coin inspired by an indigenous people's symbol on a duck inspired by an indigenous people's symbols...it seemed appropriate.) The coin is safely in Team-Ducky's collection, while Maori Ducky is out traveling the world.

THIS IS THE FIRST TEAM-DUCKY TRAVELER TO GET CLOSE TO COMPLETING ITS GOAL. IT HAS TRAVELED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLOBE AND IS NEAR TO REACHING "SOMETHING ABOUT DUCKS" (GC3ME48). PLEASE HELP IT REACH ITS NEST.
