Ahoy, Mateys! Pirate Ducky be searchin' for his pirate ship, the Swashduckler! Your orders, y' landlubbers and scallywags, be to aide the captain in his search by taking him to treasure boxes along shorelines and waterways. There be an extra ration of rum for thems that brings him to gatherings and dens o' pirates.
Arrghhh!
'Fore he was the Captain of the Swashducker, Pirate Ducky was one o' Team-Ducky's signature item crew-- the 76th sailor to come aboard. Alas, for reasons best not discussed, Team-Ducky marooned Pirate Ducky in the brig, Near Tiger's Enclosure (GCR2KE) five days before Christmas in the 9th year of this century.
Lady Luck smiled on Pirate Ducky and he was rescued from his exhile by a friendly treasure seeker, GPSbarb, only days before year's end. She took the salty duck under her wing, treating him as one her very own. After many turns of the tide, Pirate Ducky was ready to strike out on his own. In return for a ship of his own, GPSBarb required one last service of him. Pirate Ducky readily agreed to the terms.
Unbeknownst to Pirate Ducky, GPSbarb was a bosom buddies with Team-Ducky, Captain Chef Ducky and First Mate UU Jester. Before Pirate Ducky could claim his ship, GPSbarb sent him back to Team-Ducky with a message in a bottle. Oh, he thought long and hard about this mission o' his.... what could the message be? What danger might be waiting for him once it was revealed? But Pirate Ducky be a ducky o' his word, stout o' heart, and so he sailed straight on. Soon he was standing in front of Team-Ducky, ready to deliver the message. He uncorked the bottle, urolled the parchment, and read the words written there...
"Happy Birthday, Chef Ducky!"
Team-Ducky welcomed their long-lost ducky back into the Signature Item Crew. He was promoted and given a postion as one of their Traveling Duckies (the 20th one in Team-Ducky's fleet). They even gave him his own ship, The Swashduckler!
Which, after a long night of celebratin' 'n' groggin', he lost misplaced forgot where he docked it was robbed of.... by miscreants unkonwn. And so, Pirate Ducky's wanderin' began...
