Hi, I'm a Georgia State Parks Geo-Challenge Travel Gopher. My goal is to travel around the USA, from cache to cache, to raise awareness for our spectacular state parks, our cool historic sites and the new Georgia State Parks Geo-Challenge! Log your visit, and move me to a new geocache in the USA.

Hamburg State Park offers a wonderful mix of history and outdoor recreation. Visitors of all ages can enjoy great lake fishing right off the pier. For more adventure rent a pedal boat, surf bike, canoe, electric motor boat or fishing boat for the day. Campers will find shaded campsites along the edge of quiet Hamburg Lake fed by the Little Ogeechee River. Don't miss the Grist Mill, museum and Country Store also located in the park.
