Bastet Travel Bug

Bast or Bastet was the cat goddess and local deity of the town of Bubastis (Per-Bast in Egyptian), where her cult was centered. Today, cats are still special animals to Egyptians. This is a picture of the TB with a mini sculpture of Bastet that I bought in Egypt when I lived there from 1982 till 1987. It's worth nothing so please do not keep it and let it travel back to it's home country!
