Wooden shoes are typical Dutch and often used by farmers. The painting on wooden shoes differs from region to region. From simpel yellow too almost artistic! The painting on this particular small "wooden" shoes TB looks like so called "Delfts Blue" which is also very typical for the Netherlands!
