To visit as many bridges both Big and Small throughout the United States.
This TB is in honor of a very special person in my life. My father, Walter Louis Powell has always been my guiding light in life. This lantern keychain was a small gift I gave to him shortly before he passed to help guide him in his time of need. My father spent his life building bridges and every chance I had as a child I would join him to see what an amazing job he had done. Some people do not realize that bridges are built from the two seperate ends and designed to meet in the middle. The last part of my father's life was spent being home bound. I had the wonderful opportunity with my job to travel throught the US during this time. My dad would always ask me to call him and share my experiences. The cool thing was that most of the places I traveled to, he had been there too. When I shared what I saw he would always share his memories. It was a wonderful gift - giving him the gift of the memories of his experiences. This light is to always help him find his way and brighten the path until we meet one day again in the middle. Please take Walt's light on many journeys and post them as you go. I am sure he will share his memories as his light travels from place to place. Thank you for carrying on the memory of my guiding light!

Bon voyage!
