Ben Franklin

We would like our Ben Franklin Travel Bug to visit the Independence National Historic Park (especially Independence Hall) and ANY OTHER important historic parks/places around our beautiful country. We would love to see pictures of our Ben Frankiln Travel Bug in front of/next to these historic parks/places.
While Ben Franklin is traveling from cache to cache and is in your possession, please practice the concept of "pay it forward". After logging in the find, post YOUR "pay it forward" story for us to see. One of the most important things to remember about paying it forward is that it should be done with a selfless spirit. Ben Franklin started this practice in 1784 in a letter to Benjamin Webb. Paying it forward is a concept that involves doing something good for someone in response to a good deed done on your behalf. However, when you pay it forward, you don't repay the person who did something nice for you. Instead, you do something nice for someone else.

The Ben Franklin Travel Bug was sent out by my 5th grade class at Myers Corners Elementary School in Wappingers Falls, New York (Room 219). We are in a friendly Travel Bug competition with two other 5th grade classes in our school. The winning class will be the one whose Travel Bug travels the farthest and has received the most pictures from locations in the country/world that were listed in the goal/mission.
