As summer arrives, the roads become more challenging. There are cars, trucks, kids riding their bicycles, walker, scooters and motorcycles on the road. With so many on the road we all must stay focused and to be alert for any sudden changes.
There are cell phones, GPS and many other things that causes distractions. These distractions are causing accidents that could of been prevented.
As geocachers, we have all done U-turns. With U-turns there is so many blind spots. Instead of doing a U-turn, a better way would be to find a safe place to turn around.
We want to make everyone on the road to arrive at their destination safely. If we all pay attention, eliminate the distractions we can, and be prepared for the unexpected this will help prevent accidents.
Life is to precious to take chances, we can make a difference and arrive safely. Won't you help us make the roads a safer place for all.
