Firstly, thanks to the AMTG for allowing me to adpot this coin! It is by far one of the largest I've ever com across and I'm honored to give it a mission. In the spirit of how this coin was found, it's mission to seek out new travelers in unexpected places all over the world. Now, this coin was found in a sunny place, so please have it travel to some of the sunniest places on the planet to see more sunshine! Good luck on the travels!
Very big coin with lots of heft. The front has delicate 3-D work with an unusual "patchwork" background metal texture. The medallion has translucent enamel over 3-D work that dovetails into the vines and grapes outside the medallion. It says "Geocoin, Finds, and Friends!". The medallion rim is done in bolder work. The reverse continues with translucent light to dark green enamel over intricate 3-D work. There are two smaller medallions that are done in relief. These have rough texture for the background metal. One shows a cents symbol and the other a sun which is the location of the tracking number. The overall metal is brushed with a light coat of clear enamel. . Excellent big coin.
The initial hope of this coin was to be sent out only as a Virtual because it is such a valuable concept, that it is more likely to be muggled. However, I think there is little to gain without some risk, and a virtual of a coin is hardly as exciting as seeing the original, so I've therefore sent out the original on this mission. Please be sure to keep it safe and keep it moving!

I was given this coin while on vacation many years ago (I must've been no more than 12 years old). It has sat in a drawer since then, and I am just coming across it now while doing some cleaning. I plan to reintroduce it to circulation soon!
