Current Goal

We are located in Park Ridge IL,at Carpenter School in Mr. Toren’s 4th grade class.
For our social studies project we have chosen La La. We would like him to go to San Francisco and see the Golden Gate Bridge. We would also like him to go visit Hollywood and like you to take a picture of him in front of the Hollywood sign! If you could please also take him to Denver Colorado and see the mile high stadium and also to Gastonia, North Carolina, and last of all to the 4 corners of Utah, New Mexico,Arizona and Colorado.

About This Item

Our travel bug is a Telletubby that is yellow with a blue square on his belly. You will find him with a horn on his head and huge ears. He of course will be wearing a dog tag. He has a plastic face and a soft squishy body. He has brown eyes and his mouth is opened. We hope that you think he is cute!

Hello again to the 4th graders! So I'm in Hollywood and went to the Hollywood sign yesterday, but to my utter dismay when I looked in my bag for Lala to have its photo taken in front of the sign, I realize it's still in my car at the Sacramento Airport. :( My kids were checking it out in my car on the way back from San Francisco and I thought it was in my bag. Very sorry about that. I'll drop Lala in a travel bug rest-stop near where I live when I get back, so others can continue it on its travels. Hopefully, a bit better than I did. Sorry about that, guys. Noiseguy.

Hello to Mr. Toren's 4th Grade Class. We picked up Lala yesterday and hope to show him (her?) the Golden Gate bridge. I'll be in hollywood next week and hope to relocate the bug there. Good luck to lala in it's travels.

This guy is going to somewhere near Redwood City, California. There used to be a lot of Redwoods here, but they were mostly cut down and sent to San Francisco in the years following 1850. A few gigantic ones still around back in the gullies that were too steep for the loggers. Should be a short trip up to the Golden Gate.
