    Oops...we still have this one. We've been out a couple of times since picking this up; but, forgot the box of goodies, including this, to take with us.

    Retrieved this one just down from our friend's house; whose, 43 year old dad passed away from Long QT Syndrome, another sometimes fatal ailment - in which younger children sometimes faint, adults sometimes either pass-out, or often times pass away.

    Please, if you have experienced these symptoms, have your heart checked immediately.

    It was our pleasure to retrieve this Diabetes Travel bug, as we thought of our still lingering loss too.

    On the good news side. I met with a life-long buddy of mine just a month ago, who has had to take shots every day, for diabetes.

    He is still doing absolutely wonderful, as 40 years old!! We had dinner and I asked him about the diabetes. He said that he still has to take the shots every day; but, he does not have any other real problems.

    At his age, that is fabulous!!!

    Will move this one along. We live near Chicago O'Hare, so maybe an international traveler can get this one closer to its destination.

    While in our possession, we took it to a Cubs spring training game. For those who are not aware, the Cubs radio anouncer is Ron Santo who suffers from diabetes and is a big supporter of diabetes awareness.
