Well Hello Former Hawkeye, We stopped at the Elm River Rest on our way home to Norway. The TB we had to drop there is nearly reached it's goal.It was a red sports car too. So when I saw yours lying there, I simply had to take it with me - though at the time I didn't know who owned it - nor its mission. We spent the night in Alex at a hotel without computer access for guests. We hadn't any caches loaded in the gps either. But since it was a nice day and there was time to kill before we had to drive to the airport, we decided to visit the Runestone museum. My Norwegian husband thought that he had better see if they could convince him of the stone's authenticity. As tourists will do, we took pictures of ourselves in front of Big Ole. I looked at my man and said: "There has got to be a cache here." He began feeling up benches while I called my brother, Dakota Vikings, to check. He pulled up the cache page and sent us in the general direction. Before I had to pull out a gps to plot in the telephone acquired coodinates, Mr. Invisible had found the cache container.
So there I stood with a sixth sense that told me to leave your TB at this cache instead of flying of to Norway with it. Now we are back home in Oslo and I just found out about the owner and mission of this TB and am really glad I didn't take it even further off course to the east than Alexandria.
