In the fall of 2006, the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center contacted the North Carolina Geocachers Organization (NCGO) for their help with a cache event for burn survivors at UNC-Chapel Hill. They wanted to use geocaching as a team building tool with teens who were aging out of the regular camps and programs offered by the Burn Center. The NCGO cachers came out in force and helped with this great event.
Before the participants arrived, the NCGO cachers laid out a series of six caches plus a final cache for the teens to find. This spot in the Coker Arboretum is one of the places these temporary caches was placed. We liked the location so much, I decided to make it a cache for others to find.
When I hid the cache, I had 20 feet of accuracy on my gps.
