A small cache placed on “The Cloud”, near Congleton in Cheshire. It is one of a series of four caches entitled “Anthology“. Inside the log book are part of the coordinates for the final mystery cache “Bridge over troubled water”.
Parking is available at Timbersbrook picnic site where there is also a playing field, toilets and information boards about the area. N 53° 09. 735 W 002° 09. 582
From the car park walk across the field, up steps to a road. Follow the road upwards until a path leads off on the right to “The Cloud”. You can follow this path around the edge to take in the magnificent views of the Cheshire Plain of go through the forest. Distance from car park to cache is 1.5 miles.
At the trig. point N 53° 10. 197 W 002° 08. 641 there is a topograph showing the different landmarks that can be seen from this viewpoint. The cache is about 100 metres SSW from here - follow the path towards the forest, parallel with the wall.
This series of caches is based on songs written by Paul Simon. His lyrics and music are a poetry which have been a backcloth of life for many people over the last five decades - and still having meaning today.
