A traditional cache at Shell Top, a high point with good views of surrounding area.
The cache is hidden near Shell Top. There is parking at Blackaton Cross and paths around the china clay pits, once you cross the leat there is no path but you may find tracks made by quad bikes.
This is a dog themed cache in memory of Major. He was a Rotteweiler cross with a lovely temperament. Although neither of us knew about caching then we often came to this area where he would swim in the Big Pond which you will pass on the way.
At the time of placing the cache it contained a beanie dog toy, rubber ball, reflective collar, red collar, dog book. There is a FTF token too.
