The Zichy Castle
The baroque-style castle of the Zichy family was built in 1714. In the 1830's the landlord built a second floor over it and renovated the whole castle in classic style.

The baroque-style castle of the Zichy family was built in 1714. In the 1830's the landlord built a second floor over it and renovated the whole castle in classic style.
One of the values of the castle was its library which disappeared after 1945, its whereabouts are unknown. The building itself was used for several purposes. A school, medical practice, even an orphanage were operating in the building for a while, however in the meatime both the exterior and interior state of the building were significantly deteriorating.
The park of the castle
There are several huge trees in the park, the most beautiful ones are the ash trees, the yews, the sycamores and the cedars. The oldest tree is more than 110 years old.
The statue of Nepomuki Szent Janos
At the main gate of the castle stands the statue of Nepomuki Szent Janos. The late baroque-style statue is from 1787.
The cache is about 10x14x6 cm, this is a plastic box.
