Seit alters her sind Krippen und Postelwitz durch eine Fähre verbunden, weil Brücken in dieser Gegend rar sind. Viele Kletterer, Wanderer und Cacher nutzen die Fähre, um von einer Elbseite auf die andere zu kommen. Deshalb hat sie einen Cache verdient.
English Version
The villages of Krippen and Postelwitz are connected by a ferry for quite a long time, because there are rather few bridges in the area. Climbers, hikers, and cachers use the ferry to get from on side of the river Elbe to the other. Therefore, the ferry deserves a cache.
