Geocache Description:

With the help of the Park Manager, Mr. Mark Crawford, this cache is in Lake Maria State Park and so a car sticker or day permit is needed. Start from the main trail head as the best parking is here and there is no need to cut though the woods, the paths will get you there faster any way. Help promt caching in state parks by CITO (cache in, trash out) and if the office is open when you get there, let them know your a geocacher, but don't ask for hint's, that would be cheating.

Take a hiking stick, it's about 1.5 miles round trip, if you choose the right path, also take bug spray in the season, children will also be useful. Be prepared for a hike on some very nice trails with some hills.

This can be done on horse back, or if canoes are your thing, carry it with as there is a canoe area close by. In the winter both snow shoes and cross country skies are an option here. A very nice veiw is a bonus regardless of the season. Most importantly, Have fun. :-)

There are 5, count them five, Travel Bugs waiting for the first finder.
