A camouflaged Altoids container.
I adopted "Another Chink in the Wall" (GCG26G) from
Mannings after it had gone missing several times. There were 127
logged visits since it was first placed on 05/04/2003. Here is
the description from their cache, which was the second they ever
placed:
"Another Arroyo Seco Cache! If you have found others in the
Arroyo, you might have noticed the beautiful houses along the edge.
In the early part of the 20th century, paths were built to make it
easier for the residents to walk into the Arroyo. They still exist
up and down the Arroyo, but most have fallen into disrepair. There
is a chain linked fence at this one, but I have never seen it
locked. There is another gate a few feet away that is
locked."
I have decided to archive that cache and replace it with a new one
entirely so that those of you who found the original can go back,
if you wish, and find this new one. Thanks to the Mannings for
letting me adopt their cache and for the fun ones they've
placed.
Please put this back exactly as you found it to prevent it being
muggled, and to prevent it falling into the depths of the wall.
From the posted coordinates, walk downhill until
you see a small semicircular outcropping in the path to your right.
From there, continue downhill until you reach the next oak tree on
your left. Look down low, beneath a wedged flat rock directly below
the tree.
