GREAT WHITE NORTH GEOTOUR

Final Cache

To find the final cache location you need to solve the following based on the clues found in caches in each Province.

Waypoint 1:
North:  AA BB.CCC
AA =  New Brunswick + Nova Scotia - 588
BB = (Ontario - Quebec) / 4
CCC = Newfoundland - Alberta - New Brunswick - 4

West: EE FG.HHH
EE = (British Columbia - Saskatchewan  + 50) / 15  X 3
F = digital root of Manitoba
G = Add all provinces together, add the digits of that number together / 8
HHH = Nova Scotia + Prince Edward Island

There you  will find a plaque.  To find the next waypoint you need to figure out I, J, K, L.

I= Digital root of the first year on plaque

J= Number of buildings labeled in the picture

K- Number of areas outlined in the picture

L= Last digit of year in regards to workers in Hull

Waypoint 2:

minus .IJK from north of waypoint 1

add .ILI to the west of waypoint 1

Another plaque :

M=there is a picture of a perilous situation with a 5 digit number, take the digital root ( add 1 to that number )

N= there is a picture of a perilous situation with a 5 digit number, take the digital root

Waypoint 3:

add .G(K+N)N to north of waypoint 2

minus L.IG(M+I) from west of waypoint 2

Another plaque:

O= last digit of year of birth of this father of confederation

P= day of month building named minus day of month person born

Waypoint 4:

add .G(O+K)P  to north of waypoint 3

minus .G(M+I)I from west of waypoint 3

Waypoint 4 last plaque!!

Call the year on this plaque QRST

U= S+T

Cache is at:

add .QRK  to the north of waypoint 4

add .UNI  to the west of waypoint 4

Bring a camera and enjoy the tour.  That being said rather then post a picture of this cache and location, to make it that much harder, please post a picture of a different cache find. The picture can be from any cache found in CANADA!, just not of this cache.

Team eelow&beelow from Ontario came up with the idea for a Canadian multi-cache series that would take you across Canada with stops at each of the capital cities of Canada.  The final placement was a team effort of hidnseek and  geosquid. Please email me before looking for the final so I can confirm it is okay and put a special prize in.  After finding all the clues and travelling here, I  want to make sure the cache is okay between long periods of finds.  This cache is rated 5/5 due to the fact you have to find 10 other caches but really is about 1.5/2 once here.  Give yourself 2hrs to walk and complete this cache, more if you do other caches and see sights along the way.  In the summer you may want to rent a bike.  Best done on bike or foot.

IF you have not found ALL (logged) the provincial caches before the final your log will be deleted!
