Geocache Description:

Cache se nachází poblíž Kaple Navštívení P. Marie na Vršícku nad mestem Rokycany.
The cache is near the Chapel of Virgin Mary's Visitation "Na Vršícku" (On the Small Hill) upon the town Rokycany.

Kaple Navštívení P. Marie na Vršícku
Barokní stavba byla postavena v 18. stol. podle plánu stavitele Jana Mourka jako vyjádrení úcty a díkuvzdání P. Marii za její ochranu pred morovými epidemiemi v Cechách, kterými Rokycany nebyly zasaženy. Vždy první nedeli v cervenci se zde konají bohoslužby a tradicní pout. Kaple byla opravena v 90. letech minulého století. Budova kaple s nove omítnutými stenami je z dálky videt vlevo od dálnice D5 pri ceste z Plzne do Prahy.

Chapel of Virgin Mary's Visitation "Na Vršícku"
The Chapel of Virgin Mary's Visitation "Na Vršícku" is a Baroque-style edifice from the 18th cent., built by Jan Mourek. The chapel was erected in honour and thanks to St Mary for her protection against the black death epidemics, common at the time in Bohemia, which had avoided Rokycany. Holy Mass and a country fair takes place there every first Sunday in July. The chapel was repaired in the 1990s. The chapel building with the new facade rendering is visible from afar on the left of the D5 highway from Pilsen to Prague.

K urcení souradnic finální cache musíte v okolí zjistit nekolik císelných údaju. Zamerte se na schodište, které zacíná poblíž výchozích souradnic a vede ke kríži na plácku pod kaplí. Schody jsou cleneny do nekolika skupin, pocítáme je zdola. Prohlédnete si také vlastní budovu kaple a prectete si vlastivedné informace na tabuli umístené na strome poblíž. Poté pro Vás nebude težké urcit následující císla:

A = pocet schodu v 1. skupine
B = pocet schodu ve 4. skupine
C = pocet schodu v 7. skupine
D = pocet schodu v 9. skupine
E = polovina poctu schodu ve 12. skupine
F = pocet roku, po které trvala stavba kaple
GH = koncové dvojcíslí roku dokoncení opravy kaple
I = pocet dverí kaple

You must discover several numbers in the neighbourhood of the chapel to be able to find final cache coordinates. Target the stairs that start near the base coordinates and lead up to the crucifix on the ground below the chapel. The stairs are divided into several groups, we count them from below. Examine the chapel building as well, and read the information board placed on a nearby tree. Then it is very easy for you to assign the following numbers:

A = the number of the steps in 1st group
B = the number of the steps in 4th group
C = the number of the steps in 7th group
D = the number of the steps in 9th group
E = one half of the number of the steps in 12th group
F = the number of years during which the chapel was built
GH = two end numerals of the year in which repair of the chapel was completed
I = the number of the chapel's doors
