Geocache Description:

Walk a little known beach at the Irving Nature Park.

The cache is located in the Irving Nature Park, Saint John. This is just one of the many ways to get to it: Follow the highway road signs to the Irving Nature Park. Once inside the park head to the information kiosk. Adjacent to the kiosk is a footpath that goes down to the Seal & Squirrel trails. Take it. When you get to the “T” at the bottom go left. Walk 80 paces and cross 3 plank bridges then access the beach on your right. Walk the beach to the cache. GPSr WAAS accuracy was 3.7m when cache was placed. Cache is a 320g plastic container covered with camo duck tape. Photos of the area that we’ve taken can be seen by visiting the gallery. Please add some of your own. Good luck finding the cache. Stick to the trails. NO BUSHWHACKING PLEASE. ORIGINAL CONTENTS OF THE CACHE: • Logbook (with pen & pencil) • Laminated FTF certificate • Computer game CD • Umbrella hat • Clay modeling kit • Flarp! Noise putty • Flashing tiger pin • Russ beanie – “L’il Gator” • Sunglasses visor clip • Electronic LCD pedometer • Pewter photo clip • “Robin n Rover” bear pin-dant All of the above items are new and unused. The cache is near the Seal Trail so there’s pedestrian traffic. Muggle alert status is medium to high. This cache was originally hidden as part of a geocaching event in June 2006. Since the event the cache location has been changed and container restocked with goodies.
