Geocache Description:

The coords are for Dorking cemetery; the cache is not hidden there.

First you must identify a person X from the following sound clue:
(visit link)

You must then find the commemoration of person X and directly opposite that you will find a commemoration of person Y. Y is a brother of William. William is often confused with an unrelated William with the same surname.

The commemorations of both X and Y have a link with Z (yet another William).

Where else is there an exact copy of the commemoration of Y? The answer is a 7-letter word.

Substitute the letters of that 7-letter word with their alphabetic positions (A=1, B=2 etc) and the word is then written abcdefg (where a, b, c each represent numbers).

Then go to the following coords:-

N 51 1(c-d+f).(a-c)(a-d-1)(f-2)
W 000 1(e-1).(g-b)(c-e+2)(a-c)

This is an interesting spot about 45 m (as the crow flies) from the cache. Walk approx Westerly from the solution to the above puzzle; follow the path until you first see something commemorating an event which occurred in the year 1xy8. Look down for the cache. please put it back exactly as you found it,

Happy hunting and, as usual, please don't give anything away in your logs.
