Geocache Description:

Tiger’s Patches cache theme is PATCHES. Please place any type of patch that you would like to trade or share with others. Patches can include Boy or Girl Scout, military, government, or any other type for the uniform, baggage, coat, or clothing. They can be new or used, but they must be appropriate and suitable for children and families. This is a game for everyone.

The trailhead may say it is closed, but that is to keep the horse riders and bicyclists off the trail. Winter months are very wet and bikes will destroy the muddy trail. Cachers/Hikers should respect the rules, but boots will do far less damage. The cache was placed here to get people on the trails and looking for all the other caches stashed around the mountain. I will not close this cache during the winter months, because the trail is still accessible for hikers from other directions.
To find the cache go to the Tiger Summit Trailhead parking lot. This is up the dirt road from WA State Highway 18. It is on the Tiger Mountain State Forest land that is controlled by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. From the parking lot take the Preston Railroad, Northwest Timber, and Iverson Railroad Trail to the Connector Trail. You know you are on the correct trail if you cross a bridge.
It is a Lock & Lock container with a red corner tab. I placed a green Official Geocache.com sticker on the outside. Original contents included a log book, small pouch with pogs, toy white Porsche, plastic green morphing egg, Batman, “Got Milk?” tag, Boy Scout Merit Badge blue card, Wolf Slide Travel Bug, and a number of Boy Scout patches.
The due to the trees, the GPS coordinates may jump around. Please let me know what your GPS Coordinates show so I can triangulate the best position of the cache.
FTF: Congratulations to "troublejv"!
