Tourmande (1258 müM) ist ein langezogener schmaler
Pass über wunderschöne Jurahöhen durch wunderschöne, für den Jura
typische Waldweiden (pâturages boisés typique du Jura).
Die Strasse verbindet Couvet im Val de Travers auf einer Seite mit
Champagne am Neuenburgersee (ja, genau das Dorf, welches den Namen
noch behalten durfte, jedoch nicht den Namen seines Weins...). Zum
andern führt aber auch eine Höhenstrasse (Haut route du Jura) via
Les Rasses nach Ste-Croix (und von dort in wenigen Metern auf den
Col des Etroits...).
Nein, dies ist kein Micro! Hey – das kleine Restaurant grad
um die nächste Kurve ist ein echter Geheimtipp...
Tourmande (1258 m) is a narrow but good to drive pass. You'll drive
through wonderful jura meadows spotted with the typical pinetrees
(pâturages boisés).
This road connetcts Couvet (Val de Travers) with Champagne at Lake
of Neuchatel. Yes, it's true! Champagne's a little village in
Switzerland. Try it's wine – it might be a bit different to
just commonly champagne ;-)
There's another possiblity. Coming from Couvet, some km's after the
pass, you may choose the road via Les Rasses to Ste-Croix, where
from you can easily reach "Col des Etroits" in a few steps...
By the way - no, this is not a micro again! One more thing –
the tiny little restaurant just around the next bend/curve is a
real insiders secret...
