6gowild: Sadly this cache has had its day. Spent 30 minutes searching with trusty pokey stick but there was no sign of the black ammo box. Thanks to all who've visited over the years. Time for someone else to place a cache here. We consoled ourselves with feeding the ducks......

The Grockles had some grand days out in their time, although
these days they seem to prefer staying in and drinking
beer!

Regarding the once-splendid Grockles Gumbo series, which took
cachers far and wide in search of ammo-boxes, we have ill tidings:
due to a variety of reasons (inability of maintenance mainly) we
have withdrawn this series. However, we've left y'all a little
something to remember us by: Grockles Gumbo; The World's Greatest!
This is a small ammo-box hidden in one of the Grockles favourite
locations: a beautiful, tranquil park just where you'd never expect
to find a beautiful, tranquil park! This cache is still a worthy
find and thus has been left in situ and most graciously adopted by
the simply spiffing 6gowild caching family. Good luck and enjoy the
