Welcome to Ethan's first cache. This is a very easy cache placed in a park Ethan loves to play in. If you have kids this is a fun park to play in after your hunt. There are two playground areas, two tennis courts, basketball courts and a large baseball field. Across the streets is a small pond where people fish and you can feed the ducks.
The cache is located 8 feet off a well marked trail. The distance you have to walk on the trail is not far at all. If you are coming in the winter and there is snow on the ground the trail may not be so easy to see.
A little note: The parking lot for the park is for Smithtown Residents Only. If you are not a Smithtown Resident you can park across the street at the pond. The pond is also supposed to be for Smithtown residents but there is no guard house there. If the police happen to come around you may get a ticket. If you don't want to take the chance at all, go a little ways up the road and park on a side residential street. It's a short walk to the park.
There are lots of little items in the cache, which is a medium sized clear tupperware container with a blue lid.
