If there ever was a place deserving of a Geocache this is it. The cache is located in the beautiful Lily Point on Point Roberts WA - now a County Park! There is some walking required. A new trail has been built making the descent and climb much easier albeit still not suitable for wheel chairs. What goes down must come up (about 200 feet in elevation).
The trek begins nearby: N 48° 58.863 W 123° 01.771. A new parking lot is located at the entrance to the park. Follow the new trail down to... Walking the old trail takes you to a viewpoint looking south over the water. As there is no lighting, this cache is not suitable for night caching.
Features: Swimming, beach combing and birdwatching.
Amenities: None. Please practice "trash out". Washrooms at the parking lot.
Dogs: Please show courtesy to other visitors by removing your dog's droppings.
