Welcome to number ten in our Fallin' For Virginia cache series.
Hopefully we are bringing you to some of Southwest Virginia's most
beautiful but unknown waterfalls.
A small stream flows down the Chestnut Ridge. After falling for
about 30 feet, the stream then forms a 25 foot high cascade inside
the small ravine. This one is a real beauty.
There is no need to leave the road or to bushwack to find the
cache or to view the Falls. We want you to enjoy, not endanger
yourself.
Parking is very near the cache therefore there is no need for
separate parking coordinates. Parking is a wide spot (pull off) in
the road.The cache container is a small(4X5),round camo-taped
Rubbermaid box. There is room for small tradeables and TBs.
Take your camera, take your kids and enjoy another fine
presentation of Mother Nature.
Please put everything back exactly as you found it.
NOTE: cache container replaced on April 16, 2008. The cache
was moved slightly. Please see updated hint.
Thanks.
