century.

Poncione d'Arzo
The "Poncione d'Arzo" is situated in the Swiss canton Ticino. The
border to Italy goes over the crest. In 1914, on the italian part
of this mountain there were built some military positions. They are
part of the so called 'Linea
Cadorna'. The cache is located on Swiss territory.
Der "Poncione d'Arzo" liegt im Tessin. Die Grenze zu Italien
führt über den Kamm. Auf der italienischen Seite des Berges wurden
Anno 1914 diverse militärische Stellungen gebaut. Sie sind ein Teil
der 'Linea Cadorna'. Der Cache liegt auf der
Schweizerseite.

follow 5km the narrow tarred road (100m not tarred at N1)
near Viggiu up the hill to the parking at P2. Go through the
hollow path to the crest. The well-preserved trench leads you
directly to the border. It's NOT ALLOWED to drive to the top! See
log-entries below.
bei Viggiu führt ein Teersträsschen (bei N1 100m
ungeteert) 5 km den Berg hoch bis zum Parkplatz bei P2. Von
dort durch den Hohlweg zur Krete. Der gut erhaltene Schützengraben
führt direkt bis zur Grenze. Es ist NICHT ERLAUBT, ganz hoch zu
