Geocache Description:

The cache is not at these coordinates! The coordinates are for the famous Purple Rose Theatre in downtown Chelsea.

To find the true coordinates you must find the partial coordinates in the Washtenaw Steps Up! and Michigan Steps Up! caches.

The Healthy Communities cache had a 4-digit combination lock which has been removed. To log a smiley on the cache you must sign the logbook and email me the four digit number that was the combination for the lock. Clues to the numbers are found on the Chelsea Walking Map at the coordinates (N 42° 19.037; W 084° 01.212).

First digit: Find the legend for Routes & Distances. How many routes are listed?

Second digit: Add the distances for the Teal, Brown, and Purple routes.

Third digit: The space for the map was donated by the Family of Howard Flintoft. Howard had a nickname. Match the nickname to one of the routes on the legend. Round UP the distance listed for this route to the nearest whole number.

Fourth digit: Each of the two Steps Up! caches is located on two different routes on the map. Find the routes, match the route colors and distances on the legend. Add the distances for each of the two routes and round DOWN to the nearest whole number.
