Geocache Description:

A small cache located in historic downtown Mufreesboro.

According to the Civil War Trail historic marker located near this cache,Murfreesboro was a prosperous riverfront commercial center that interested both sides during the Civil War. Stop and read about the battle when visiting this cache.

This cache is located just off the sidewalk in busy downtown Murfreesboro. It could easily be wheelchair accessible. Because of its public location muggles abound and stealth is required. Happy Hunting!

Local cacher (sort of - she's from Halifax) NCSupermom has kindly agreed to help me with this cache should there be any problems.

This cache would count for Page 24 on the North Carolina Delorme Challenge (GCTYE6), and for Hertford County on the North Carolina County Challenge (GC19YRC)
