Geocache Description:

The box is at the top of Harghita Ciceu (not far from the Meteo aerials), in a gorge of the rock under the mountain top, hidden by stones. The box is a small airtight 1liter bucket, wrapped in plastic bags of different colours. (Do not mistake the Meteo aerials for the TV-station!)

Finally, the great moment has come, I could hide my first box. As far as Harghita Madaras is occupied concerning boxes, I would like to invite you to Harghita Bath, precisely to Harghita Ciceu, which is an important place, too.

Accessibility
Harghita Bath can be approached from highway 13A, which connects Odorheiu Secuiesc with Miercurea Ciuc. There are two ways from Tolvajos-peak to Harghita Bath. One is the highway, which is 400 meters on the west from Pine Tourist House and leads uphill along the bank of the Black-stream (kaolin water). The other is the tour path marked with two stripes starting from the northern part of the Tourist House.

You can reach the hiding-place in many possible ways. I would recommend three of these:

A. From Harghita Bath, on the path under the cable-railway. This is a quite steep route, but those who like slower timing can choose the forest road, which crosses the path several times. After we succeed in walking the steep path, we pass the building of the TV-station, look for the path which leads to the mountain top (a few concrete squares on approximately 2 hundred meters make it easier to reach the goal, which is a child's play from here).

B. There is a path from Kalibasko Restaurant and from there (following the blue triangle) after 2-3 hours walk we go across Szeles hill (1488m) and Pokad field and reach Owlstone=Bagolyko (1679m). From here we have a fantastic view of Harghita Bath. You can see the TV-station. A few years ago I dared to enter this building which has a very strange atmosphere. The continuous dull noise reminded me the "China syndrom" film.

C. From Harghita Madaras on the path marked with a blue stripe. Comparatively this is a difficult ground (especially in winter), but it isn't a problem for experienced tourists. It needs 2-3 hours of walk. It isn't recommended to go without a map
