"On the road" to the summit of "Pic du Canigou"
Balade un peu ambitieuse via Pic de la Pena. Petits sentiers et belles vues. En haut il y a des jolies places pour faire un picnic. On peut continuer au Refuge de Mariailles. Après une nuit au refuge, on peut faire le sommet du "Pic du Canigou" et descendre via "Chalet des Cortalets".
Small paths, magnificant views, but the trail via "Pic de la Pena" is a bit ambitious. Near the tower of Goa you will find nice places for having a picknick . You can also continue the trail to the "Refuge de Mariailles", stay there for the night and summit the next day. The way back via "Chalet de Cortalets" completes the cicuit.
Vous pouvez gare votre voiture près de N42.32.657, E2.23.038, prés du Camping "Les Cerisiers". Le panneau vous informe de la balade "Tour de Goa". Il indique qu’il faut marcher 3 heures. Nous y mettons deux heures avec des gros sacs. Aller et retour on va 3,5 heures.
You can leave your car at N42.32.657, E2.23.038, the camp site "Les Cerisiers" is nearby.
The sign indicates that you need 3 hours to reach "Tour de Goa". We needed 2 hours with our big rucksacks. The way there and back is about 3,5 hours.
