Pennies for the General Multi-Cache
Sebastian: Archiving this. It's come up missing before. As for the other "items" found - don't they close this place at night and don't the police ever patrol the area?

The above coordinates will lead you to the grave of General Strong Vincent. He was born in nearby Waterford, attended Harvard, and practiced law in Erie before the Civil War. He led the 83rd Pennsylvania during the fight for Little Round Top in the Battle of Gettysburg. He died 5 days after being wounded in that battle. We got the idea for this cache after reading an article in the Erie Times last week on Memorial Day. It seems that people leave pennies on Vincent's headstone as a link to the Battle of Gettysburg, during which time Lincoln (penny) was president of the United States.
After visiting Vincent's grave, proceed about 30 paces roughly in the direction to your right. The micro is in an obvious place. Take some time to look at the names of some nearby graves which are recognizable Erie names.
Interesting side note -- When we stopped at the cemetery on Memorial Day we asked a lady planting flowers if she knew where Vincent's grave was. After pointing us in the right direction, she drew our attention to the huge mausoleum near his grave. It seems that when one of the Scott family members was laid to rest, President Grover Cleveland attended the interment.
