This is a short walk from the Cruise Ship Festival Place, British
Colonial Hilton Hotel, and Straw Market. This is a micro, so be
sure to bring your own pen to this one.
Come see the beautiful Governor's Mansion on New Providence Island
in the Bahamas. Towering over Nassau, this impressive structure is
easy to reach if you are eating, shopping, vacationing, or arriving
via cruise ship in the area.
We experienced a fair amount of bounce on our GPS when placing
this and the coordinates are within 23 feet. You need not enter the
confines of the property, nor do you need to leave the sidewalk in
front of the Mansion. You are looking for a 35mm film canister and
- depending upon the time of day - may find many in vehicles very
close by. We placed it while appearing to take touristy photos of
ourselves by the wall.
Please note that there is a lot of vehicular traffic in this area
and the sidewalks are not very wide, so as several cachers have
made note of, this may be a tough one to do with small children.
