[CZE] Tato cache vás zavede do míst zaniklé vsi Svatý
Vojtech, osídlení s pohnutou historií. Na míste stál puvodne pouze
kostel, který zde v roce 1589 nechal postavit opat tepelského
kláštera Mathias Göhl. První obyvatel - Johann Haas - na místo dle
historických pramenu pribyl až roku 1694, aby pozdeji tragicky
zahynul rukou lupice a ani dcerou privolaná pomoc z nedaleké vsi
Bezverov již jeho život nezachránila.
Na míste samém u nedalekého pramene prý dle povesti nejaký cas
pobýval Sv. Vojtech – druhý ceský biskup - pri svém návratu z
Itálie, odtud jméno obce.
Již vystehovaná vesnice byla po druhé svetové válce z neznámého
duvodu znicena minometnou palbou ceskoslovenské armády a její
zbytky pod príkrovem vegetace lze pouze jen tušit. Její minulou
existenci dokazuje nezvyklý tvar terénu,vyrovnaná stromoradí ci
prítomnost kulturních drevin uprostred háje.
Zajímavostí je kovová soška Ježíše Krista vrostlá do korenového
systému stromu na míste N49 56.875 E12 50.078 – vystupuje pouze
hlava, cást tela a levá ruka.
Samotná cache se nachází v míste prilehlého hrbitova, kde jsou
známky puvodního osídlení preci jen patrnejší a atmosféra místa
rozhodne stojí za návštevu. V centrální casti hrbitova stojí
kamenný podstavec jemuž ješte pred dvemi lety dominoval kovový kríž
– ted již asi zdobí obývák neznámého poberona, at mu ruka upadne.

Švandrlíka, zprístupníme je v el. podobe pokud se nám podarí získat
k tomu svolení autora.
[ENG] This cache will take you to the already perished
village Svaty Vojtech – St. Adalbert – settlement with touching
history. Originally there was only a church built upon a decision
of Abbot Mathias Göhl of Tepla Monastery in 1589. According to
historical sources the first inhabitant – Johann Hass – arrived in
the year 1694 however was murdered later on by a thief. A help from
a nearby village Bezverov called by his daughter could not save his
life.
According to an old myth, Sv. Vojtech – second Czech Bishop – was
dwelling around the nearby spring for some time on the return from
Italy, hence the name of the village.
For unknown reason the already deserted village was destroyed by
mortar gunfire of Czechoslovak Army in the early 50ies of 20th
century. The ruins of the village can only be sensed rather then
seen under the cover of vegetation. Its past presence is proven by
unusual terrain shape, lined trees and cultivated plants in the
middle of the grove.
There is a POI on the following coordinates: N49 56.875 E12 50.078
- metal statuette of Jesus Christ half-swallowed by root system of
one of the trees. Only head, part of the body and left hand is
visible.
The cache itself is placed in the ruins of a nearby cemetery,
where the remains of the original settlement are more evident. The
place’s atmosphere is worth a visit. There is a rock pedestal in
the central part of the cemetery which used to be dominated by
metal cross still two years ago – gone now unfortunately.
