You are seeking a Pill Bottle hidden fairly well. It is not out in the open and will be easy once you find the "nut".
You'll find it easier from the south side of the fence but a tall person might be able to get it from the north side. Please roll the log carefully and place back in the bottle with the cap tightly secured. If it drops - it will be gone! It is not in, or on, the tree. Read the hint if you give up.
