TyeDyeSkyCrew: It was very disheartening this morning when I met Bill and Matt to locate this cache. I arrived to find the cache area more then just trampled down by groups of searchers. The area was destroyed. The original hiding spot was in the middle of a group of logs, those logs were not even there anymore. There were trees broken off at the ground, granted they were already dead but still... Nothing appeared as it was just a few months back.
I understand the frustration of looking for a lot of the NEMESIS caches, as I've had to go and relocate most of them at one time or another. This cache in particular I've had to find 4 times and it was difficult for me too.
This cache is no longer here. We could not find it either. To the folks that trashed the place I say two things. One, the cache was a small red coke bottle cap. I hope it was not tossed aside like everything else in the forest. And two, please read up on Geocaching etiquette. Most of us stick to a creed in this sport. You can find that creed at www.geocreed.com. Rule #5 applies here.
Tread Lightly,
