Geocache Description:

It is said that the earth's circle which the human race inhabits is torn across into many bights, so that great seas run into the land from the out-ocean.

The Chernobyl disaster occurred at 01:23 a.m. on April 26, 1986 at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Pripyat, Ukraine within the Soviet Union. It is regarded as the worst accident in the history of nuclear power. Because there was no containment building, a plume of nuclear fallout drifted over parts of the western Soviet Union, Eastern and Western Europe, Scandinavia, the British Isles, and eastern North America.
20 years later on the same day we made this cache available in Reykjavik, Iceland as a reminder to this catastrophe.

Original contents: log-book, pens, a toy.
